realmadrid Posted October 16, 2018 Share Posted October 16, 2018 Change the rule where if a goal kick does not go out of the box the keeper gets to take it again if a defender plays it because he is being pressed by the forward it should be an indirect or even direct free kick to the attacking team and if a forward is stupid enough to play it early make it a free kick to the defending team. realmadrid Posted October 16, 2018 Share Posted October 16, 2018 A 25 year back dated rolling admin rule, with the rules set in stone First admin , 10 point penalty Second admin , 25 point penalty plus automatic demotion of one division for the following season, so win the league you stay where you are , fail to get promotion, your relegated and if your relegated its a double relegation Third admin, ejection from the league and that club cannot ever return with the same badge and all honours remain with the now defunct club. He gave a penalty, and as soon as he did, 3 players ran towards him to complain. He pulled the red card out of his pocket and held it at his side. Never said a word. All 3 of them shat it and slowly crept away moaning quietly. No drama, just let them know who was in charge. Unfortunately it wouldn't work in Scotland, as Willie Collum would immediately flash the red card at every player within a 40 yard radius, therefore rendering every match he reffed abandoned due to lack of players. DavieCFC Posted October 16, 2018 Share Posted October 16, 2018 Id personally like to see rules brought in to really clamp down on timewasting The match clock stops whenever there's a shy/corner/goal kick/substitution/Injury/goal and restarts when play begins again. I know a guy who used to be a Premier League official in the late 80’s and early 90’s who said that many of the officials at that time and probably still some today call the captains into their room before a match to run through how they will administer the rules in a game and many of them tell them exactly that; that the only person they want to speak to after a decision IS the captain.
