I have no idea what the ERJFA are going to do.

We've been told we’re in at tier 6 the season will start and end earlier and that discipline will be in line with SFA rules.Re-instatement will go too.

So essentially not junior anymore

It’s not misinformation!

The West Region general meeting with 60 club reps in attendance were told exactly what Locheeboy has been saying.

Kind of contradicted yourself pretty quickly there.

Locheeboy is saying the same as West Region officials told their clubs regarding the PWG.

How the ERJFA rearrange their leagues has got nothing to do with the West Region.

Do you know what's happening in the North Region, then?

OK, I am now in possession of the PWG minutes from 9th January. I'll share them over the weekend but one thing is for sure, there is no agreement.

Some snippets;

"IM asked GF [George Fraser - LL Chairman] to confirm the position with the draft Play Off Rules. GF stated that he would have to get a formal proposal from the working group to proceed. He confirmed that the Play Off Rules need agreement from the East, South, SLFL and the Scottish FA.  IM stated that if there was an agreement at this working group, then that would be all parties in agreement. JG stated that could not be the case as he would have to run the information past the EOS FA Board first."

"JG [John Greenhorn - EoS ] mentioned that the SHFL were not represented at the working group. This was followed by a general discussion regarding the demarcation line and the geographical issues regarding that and how some teams would potentially have to travel large distances."

"AR [Andrew Renwick, VP EoSFA] mentioned that the contentious matter was Tayside. That would be where the East clubs would have an objection. JG clarified that rather than Tayside, another East league would be the issue. There were already East leagues and there could be no room for another one. AR said that the Pyramid must be extended to north of the Tay and the West as there was a gap there."

The other bit that stood out was this from Maxwell;

"IM asked if the fundamental objection was the geography issue. There was a general discussion regarding the 25 clubs leaving the SJFA at the end of Season 2017/2018 and joining the East of Scotland and who was responsible for that. IM stated that consultation was not a one way street and that communication from EOS FA surrounding the process could have been better."

What does he mean by who was "responsible" as if it was some sort of illegal move, a strange comment and why was he accusing the EoS of poor comms.

Final paragraph looks to be TJ saying that he wants the SFA to force it through, desperation;

"TJ asked IM to alert the Scottish FA Board to the direction of travel as he felt, due to the concerns raised at this meeting, that there could be an issue with the working group being able to comply with a Board directive.  "

That should bring a bit of clarity as to where the PWG are at, not very far it seems and certainly no done deal, this did not come from EoS sources BTW. I'll try and get it all posted up later.

Maybe not but maybe feels eosfa should have been proactive in approaching clubs rather than othere way round

Was the meeting not cancelled at short notice due to a funeral and rearranged for next week?

With respect, whose funeral was it ?

Was the postponement of the meeting, about respect for the deceased and family/friends, or/and was it about 'convenience', given the 'unresolved issues' set out on this forum.

The PWG needs to meet again as soon as possible, as the clock is running down.

Also, whatever the reason(s) for further delays, clubs need to know if they have/have not been recommended/awarded an entry licence, as quickly as possible, especially if the licence has been refused, or if they are subject to a time limited derogation.

No offence BUT if you think they essentially faked going to a funeral to avoid deciding if Bonnyrigg can have a licence then it's time to take a step back from this.

It was the SFA Presidents daughter who, according to press reports, died of cancer at 43 and there was a service yesterday in Aberdeen. I think we can all agree that board meetings play second fiddle in those circumstances.

We can all wait a bit as this gives some perspective to it all. Thoughts to Alan McRae and his family

It's quite a state of affairs if this the January meeting and they are still discussing stuff from 6 months ago.
