West Fixtures Update Plan B

Recommended Posts

With Rob Roy getting a home tie in the Macron Scottish Junior Cup, I've had to postpone the Cumbernauld v Vale of Clyde Ardagh Group West of Scotland Round One tie.

There's been a bit of juggling but the fixture changes are now as follows.

Sat 27th October

Cumbernauld, Vale of Clyde, Whitletts, Shettleston all now idle. - New fixture - Johnstone Burgh v Newmains in McBookie.com League 2.

Sat 10th November

New Fixture - McBookie.com Championship - Arthurlie v Cumbernauld.

Vale of Clyde idle.

Sat 1st December

McBookie.com Premiership - Rob Roy v Talbot now switched to Talbot v Rob Roy.

Ardagh Group WoS Cup - Cumbernauld v Vale of Clyde

McBookie.com  League 2 -  Ashfield v Carluke

Sat 8th December

McBookie.com League 2 - Ardeer v Ashfield

Could Cumbernauld play Whitletts that day ? I’m no sure but doubt they would have played them twice already

Played them away already. So no.

So what happens to Arthurlie v Cumbernauld on 1st December?
Looks to me like it's getting played on 10th November.

This sort of forward planning and communication with the clubs will never take off.

It makes you wonder why a majority of the clubs voted to keep Scott Robertson in the fixtures role the year before.

Apparently it's the Ardagh Group, not just the Ardagh Glass division. Don't know if that will make a difference.

Last season's final was at Meadow Park.

Yeah it was but how many west finals were at pollok under the old sponsor including ones involving pollok I’m sure not 100% on that tho
