Bairn Necessities
Given where Tidser pushed the ball when Fasan scythed him, not sure it was a clear goalscoring opportunity. Is that still the rule? Not complaining though, as it hopefully means the last we've ever seen of Fasan in goals. Worth it in the long term. port-ton
Genuinely, if you thought McKinnon was a shite manager you collectively wouldnt be carrying on the way you have. Why not just be honest about the whole thing? It wasn't me who said our performance was laughable and we were every bit as bad as Falkirk. Just pointing out that if we were that bad then it's down to the person who signed the players. You had 15 minutes of trying to hit high balls on the counter attack which was causing some threat and after that we pretty much nullified you.Our squad is imbalanced and lacks pace which was pointed out while Mckinnon was still here. He's not a bad manager, but the fans reaction was due to the deceitful way he left us for a club at the bottom of the league with zero points after our board had backed him and our players had either signed because of him weeks previously or bought in to what he was trying to do. Tidser for instance was fitter than ever and in the form of his life in a position no manager has really played him in before, and Johansson isn't playing him there anymore again. If he had left in a non snakey way there's no way our players would have reacted the way they did after a routine win over the worst team in the league. Newbornbairn
Doesn't matter where it was, goalscoring opportunity or not - that was a straight red card challenge for anyone except Scott Brown. At the goal, there's three Morton players charging into the box unchallenged for a cross - something that's been a regular feature with this defence. GiGi
Top yer da patter from yesterday when Falkirk had a throw near the end. Muirhead goes over to take it and gets "hawl, that shouldny say Muirhead it should say dick head!" Tickled me, that one.

It’s sad day day when scraping a 1-0 over the worst Falkirk side in 30 years is seen as any sort of positive. You lot were every bit as hopeless as we were till the sending off. Laughable. At least we realise how gash we are, haha. Unlucky. Sorry think you might just have forgotton what its like to pick up 3 points. Every win is a positive and a nice and healthy 10-point-gap suggests we are nowhere near as gash as you are.
port-ton
Is it a worry for Falkirk fans that despite the huge trouble you're in, that Mckinnon is petty enough to refuse to pick a creditible championship player in Mark Russell just because he rejected a contract at Morton under Mckinnon this summer? He didn't stay long enough at us for us to see his character flaws (we saw plenty when he left) but you have to feel most managers would be doing whatever they could to get out of your situation rather than letting pride get in the way. The Ghost of B A R P
p.s. some of the Falkirk Dhiddy Sevco posters on here are in worse nick than their, eh, ‘team’... I’d give you fifty quid for McGhee, Buaben (plus personal trainer), and the boy who missed an open goal with a header... the rest are utter dugshite and you are going down. p.p.s. we are not very good, but the sight of you whammers taking solace in that is pure salty gold... p.p.p.s. before I forget... f**k yer Ray McKinnon

Yeah, I'd tend to agree, but I don't think that's what the ref gave it for. Otherwise you get a 3 game ban for violent conduct?

MarkoRaj
Not sure which straw clutching I find more enjoyable. McKinnon's "it wasn't a handball so even though the correct decision was made I'm still a seething mess' or Falkirk fans on here giving it 'haha you're only slightly better than us' It's all pretty delicious tbh

Falkirk_Bairn_1983
Another expected defeat but we were harder to beat yesterday albeit against a pretty poor Morton team. Just 10 games until January now, I actually think we will pick up some points in those games. If we can sign another 3 or 4 players like Buaben we will be fine. Aye, if you commit enough money to risk administration, you’ll probably avoid relegation. You batter on now.
