Guest TOPFITTER Posted October 6, 2018 Share Posted October 6, 2018 This late and no match thread maybe says a lot for the recent League experiences of both teams supporters !!!When if ever will Elgin give their fans a season with something to show at the end of it and will serial under-achievers Peterhead finally give The BLUE TOON and it's Directors a return on their investments??? As usual Rory and his mercenaries will probably win if Peterhead defend with any degree of professionalism and keep the "Cracks type Dragback situations " to a minimum, any other result is possible if not !!! Those at Peterhead who finance the Club deserve a whole lot better than the return they have gotten from Management and Players, maybe just maybe this season ? Although looking at our line up it appears we may actually be starting with 4 recognised defenders, not a statement that can be made very often! peternapper Posted October 6, 2018 Share Posted October 6, 2018 Spoiler Agree that the team are not fulfilling their potential so far if we can continue to win games then daresay we could put up with it. With the players we have available we should be enjoying better quality stuff than we tend to be getting. Today we should have won by more than 3 but even when 2 up there is always the worry we could shoot ourselves in the foot. Again today without Elgin really bothering us we only played in spells & need to start keeping pressure on teams for 90 mins.
