Probably the worst patter I’ve ever read. My eyes actually hurt.

Your patter is what folk use when they are on the defensive.

You want to pick people up for as you call it, spelling, but don’t like it when you get called out on in.

Mainly just basic spelling. There’s absolutely no reason why grown adults can’t tell the difference between you’re and your. Your phone will even auto-correct it for you.

Spelling, punctuation and grammer are the key to good, intelligible writing. Of these grammer is the most important, punctuation and spelling less so.

The problem is bad grammer can make the meaning of what is written totally ambiguous, there have been very many instances on here where it has been hard to work out what the poster really means. Better to say nothing and hide your ignorance; than write a load of meaningless nonsense and prove it!

Don’t worry about any of it, this isn’t an English exam.

Some people on here are dyslexic, some just can’t spell good or have only a basic grasp of English. It’s not something we need to be getting pulled up for. This is a junior football forum where everybody should be allowed to share their views and express their opinions and not worry about the spelling. I am sure that most of us understand what it’s meant to be.

This forum needs the diverse group of people who post which include different age groups, different religions, support different teams, different sex, different race, different education levels, different working backgrounds etc.

Let the spelling, grammar, punctuation shit go, not everyone is an expert and the majority of us don’t use it correctly.

Got cramp in my finger now.
