Took our chances in the second half with the wind at our backs so three points in the bag which is all you ask for in the conditions. Not a day for the purists. You could not say it was stylish football and while our team had some good spells our defence was careless in the end. Was hoping for a draw but heh ho down we go. But conditions were the same for sides and we adapted better than Airdrie. Thought it was a shame that Denholm's long range shot didn't go in, that would have been a great goal, but Wallace took his chance with the rebound from the crossbar for our third goal. First was a bit scrappy but Swankie did well to chase into the box and score and Hamilton's goal was a good header in a crowded box from a Linn corner. Good to see Steven Doris doing some warm up with the subs although never expected him to get onto the pitch in today's conditions, but nice to know he is fit enough to be on the bench.
