Poaching players.

Disappointed the way Cumnock have went about trying to poach one of our players ahead of a big Scottish cup match versus kelty. A Dalbeattie player who is still in contract. Contacting him and inviting him in to train is not the way to go about it. Poor from the the manager.

Many other sayings could be used to show that there must be a willingness on both sides.................. if true !!!!!

Oh the cheek of the man!
The current Dalbeattie Stash manager has been trying to poach players from Southern Counties teams for past 3/4 years with his cheque book.
If you give it out you also need to take it when it comes around.

Wullie told me once that to be a great manager you had to be a great liar. How he poached Lyden, Pirie and Mills off you I will never know.
