I hope Cuthbert has the “balls” to start Flannigan and Milne now they are both fit, dropping Buchanan and Duggan allowing Vaughan and Nisbet (our main goal threats) to play up top. If he does and we win, job could be his.

Also all this McKay being our best defender stuff - he IS a great young player and a fantastic talent, has played brilliantly against Forfar and just as impressively when he came on against Airdrie when confronted with their quick and diminutive forwards in John Baird & Dale Carrick, when McKay could use his pace and tackling to nullify them. However, when he plays against the big powerful striker he gets far too easily bullied as per Stranraer when he cost a goal, even Jonny Court for East Fife battered him FFS, and Brian Graham up at Dingwall never lost a single ball in the air to him. So can see why he is being left out against the teams with big powerful front men, until he bulks up a bit, which when he does he will absolutely be a key player for Raith.

Two horrendous goals conceded from set pieces in two weeks.

That was really pish, and dare I say it, a bit Lockey towards the end with players all over the place. Finishing the game with Milne, who looks like he’s not kicked a football before, Vaughan and Nisbet in the middle isn’t really acceptable.

Need a manager in pronto.

That was utter rank. No other way to describe it. Again, nothing to discern who were the part time and full time teams. Shapeless, directionless and no pressure up against a team where we should've been pushing them as far forward as possible.

Why are we protecting McKay and Watson by not playing them to shoehorn in Davo and Bene who aren't good enough? Neither of the our starting back three bothered to play it out the back.

Get in a manager who isn't pals with the players. Ideally one who'll not having us punting it to 5'9 forwards who are up against agricultural centre halves.

Fair play to Montrose. Hard work from them, and happy to utilise some excellent use of shit housing (which is an art form in itself).
