Aufc
I don't think bias comes into it all that much. O'Donnell looked far more natural than Fraser, Forrest or even Callum Paterson looked there. He deserves to keep his placeThat is because fraser is never a right back or wing back.Mcleish needs to weigh up shoehorning tierney into the team at centre half and sacrificing other players against having tierney out position but probably suiting other players. Something like thisGordon/mcgregorTiernayMckennaSouter/an otherRobertsonMcgregor/forrestArmstrongMcginnCairneyFraserGriffiths/naismith/mcburnie
paddymcp
McKenna’s not comfortable with the ball at his feet IMO. Mulgrew is. So he will play. Armstrong might not be playing regularly but he would still have more natural energy on the park than a slow overweight cumbersome McDonald. 1320Lichtie
Id only play Mulgrew for his experience, counts for something in games like this. Fraser or Forrest could be the pace uptop, both could easily drift out wide or go in behind with their pace. It's not like we have any decent strikers aside from Griffiths and Naismith anyway, who'll probably never play together.
buddies1877
I’d go with that

McKenna's not a spectacular passer by any means but in the games he's played for Scotland so far he was far less prone to giving the ball away or just committing errors in general than Mulgrew was. RobbieD
I’d have Snodgrass in the team every day.
Dunning1874
I can see both sides of the argument of having a natural holding midfielder beside McGinn or just going for it with McGinn as the deepest midfielder, but even if you go with a holding midfielder you don't have to sacrifice Armstrong or McGregor to accommodate that. Dropping Russell and pushing McGregor forward to play off Naismith is a better option than losing either of them. Russell didn't really do anything wrong against Albania, but Armstrong and McGregor are our best midfielders and shouldn't be left out. As for the 'but Armstrong isn't playing which is why Griffiths got dropped' argument, in Naismith we have an alternative to Griffiths who's capable of playing just as well. We don't have that alternative to Armstrong.
munro7
Armstrong made a hell of a difference when he came on in the last game. Didn’t do anything particularly special but simply moved the ball quicker and gave us options with his movement.I’d go same team as last time but with Armstrong instead of MacDonald. I actually think Naismith is far more suited to playing the striker role we have in this side too, whether that's on his own or someone playing just off him. Griffiths just doesn't have the hold up play/aerial ability that Naismith does.
