At no point did the board consider punting him. David Beattie made that very clear. Bar the change in chair(wo)man, his pals are still in control. No hope of him getting punted yet. If they were ever keen on sacking him, wouldn’t he have gone well before now? Thistle directors have never been overly quick to sack managers over the time I’ve been a fan. The concern is this is 2004/05 Britton/Whyte/Campbell all over again. He needs to be sacked before we are in a relegation battle in 2 months time.
