@Shandön Par with another mention.

Media hoor.

Something that does grate on my gentle Edinburgh ears is Tam's pronunciation of "Shandon". He pronounces it almost like two words meaning a rotten Aberdeen fan.

In the unlikely event I'm ever on the show I shall be pronouncing "Motherwell" as "Shi Teh Ole" to teach him.

I usually have a friendly bet with my mates on how long it'll take after we switch on that we hear the word Motherwell or St Johnstone.

Regardless when we switch on its usually under a minute.

What are you on about? It's a description of his son and is used right across Scotland.

Calm down, calm down, you are allowed to have a different opinion from me without losing it. I bet there's a few things that you don't like that don't bother me. Like Saintees signing Andy Considine for example.

How did it go ?

They got more out of him in 10 minutes than they would if he had been in the studio with Tam interrupting.  It was an unusual format but if they wanted to talk to him that was the way to do it.

Seeing that's who they support, its hardly a surprise is it.

Maybe you're just jealous they never mention East Fife.

Actually the reverse would apply, to both points.
