Not for me either. If a accidentally bite into a coffe flavoured Quality Street or whatever I immediately spit it out

Totally with you both. Anything coffee flavoured is bowf.  Coffee is also fucking dreadful and makes someone's breath stink.

I've been on this rant before, but the tea drunk in the UK is absolute garbage. The whisky equivalent would be the stuff you get in plastic sachets in countries like Ghana.

You really don't need to spend much at all to be drinking the tea version of Lagavulin 16 each day. Night and day from the shite people regularly drown in milk and sugar.

I would be interested in knowing what decent tea was.  I don’t drink it at all.

I do drink coffee, but I don’t ‘get it’, it doesn’t kick start my day - it serves as a vehicle for socialising or as a break from work.

Do you live abroad? I wish you'd mentioned it.

Incorrect.

See Banana Sambucca, those banana shaped banana flavoured chocolate and also once more for exposure, Banana Sambucca.

I’ve not tried the Sambucca however no other banana flavoured items have been acceptable so I doubt this would float my boat.  For confirmation, bananas are fine.

These are the three teas I'm currently quaffing. From top to bottom they are an oolong (da hong pao) a black (Yunnan golden needle) and a green (long jing).
They're all very different and you get far more range in tea than you do coffee. Good quality tea has very little astringency or bitterness. You get very fragrant almost floral teas, deep malty teas and woody earthy teas like a ten year old pu'er. There's something for everyone and unlike having a nice range of good whisky at home, the tea equivalent can be achieved for very little money. e31cc47b6cd3bb2babb124e8798442c8.jpg

Bit of a waste tearing the bags open

True story: I once had a bag of tea taken from my flat by police as evidence after the bomb squad had to be called in.

Was it a bag of TNT?

I remember that episode.  Did Pat Kane not snap back at her at one point that led to a pretty awkward silence?  Must've been about five or six years ago.

Sounded like there was actual bother in the studio that day.

OTB has been good the last few weeks in particular.  Is Tom English still romantically involved with Anne Budge
