What’s she saying?

She reminded Cowan that his first ever public comment about her was about the colour of her lipstick rather than her world cup success.

Then, as soon as Leitch was mentioned, she elbowed her way into asking the first question, which was about women's football being stopped while pointing out that 80% of nurses are female.

Fair play to her, but her tone is a wee but confrontational - most guests on OtB tend to be a bit more laid back.

I saw her previously on AVFTT and she's an impressive and interesting character who obviously doesn't stand for any shit. I thought she asked a perfectly valid question, was given a reasonable response and she seemed to accept it with good grace.

Tense moment when Leitch said he'd just looked her up.

I had to look her up as well.

Aw superb. The Cowan one especially. That will have rattled him.

For those looking Rose Reilly up, this is a superb article:

https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/football/2017/jul/17/rose-reilly-scottish-footballer-world-cup-italy-milan

I saw Ginny Clark tell the Rose Reilly story in a Scottish Book Week event at the Scottish Storytelling Centre.

Then Thomas Clark stood up and read a poem about her.

It was a brilliant night, and it felt like a great moment of recognition for her brilliant story.

Some career/life she's had, like.

As an aside. People seem to have taken he's interested in football because of his omnipresence on the show.

Has he ever said who he supports or how often he goes?

She implied having the woman’s football stopped was a sexist decision though which seemed unnecessary

Think he's from Airdrie, is he no'?

So, we now need to ken what school he went to. ;)

I've been on P&B too long - I saw the start of this sentence and thought it was a "the whole room stood up and applauded" type story

I thought they established early on he was a fan of egg chasing mostly and they just tacked Airdrie on to him as that's his home town.

I was going to say, to annoy the Serge, he's a regular at Hannah Park and that's why he's had part time football stopped for months.

If he went there I'd have been able to see him in the "crowd".
