Also Sevco under 21s being Team of The Day for beating Wrexham!

In addition Cowan thinks that the old, dead Rangers would have won the Champions League if it wasn't for Marseille's massive cheating.

An unforgivable mistake yesterday from Tam Cowan.  He was talking about kids tv describing the sublime Jossy's Giants as 'the one that starts with the trombone playing and the kid going down the slide' . That was the depressing programme Johnny Briggs. I can handle the numerous football mistakes but that is beyond the pale.

I can't square the Stuart Cosgrove I hear on the Media Review on Thursday with the one who turns up on a Saturday.

Tam Cowan really grates with me now. If he could advertise his holidays I'd know better when to tune in safely.

My real pet hate with it these days is the tunes they play as a "quiz" on a Saturday night. Instead of a wee 20 second clip you get eight verses and a chorus.

Or the achingly bad juxtaposition of say the uplifting anthemic "we are family" followed by the line of questioning "do tell me about the day Uncle Phil died".

But then you get about three seconds of the "tune to play us out" before the news comes in.

And the speaking over their guests, or just ignoring them completely. Sometimes you hear a voice come in for the first time in an hour and you think "who is this again?".

Absolutely crap these days, should be punted.

More revisionism last night about Marseille and 1992.

Marseille, having already qualified for the final, bribed Valienciennes to go easy before the final v Milan.

Rangers were pumped fair and square.

Although i did enjoy McSwegan's hard evidence that Moscow had been bribed because "you wouldnt put it past them".

He corrected that later on, did you write in?

Just listened to last weeks broadcast, funniest thing I've heard on the show for ages was asking Derek Ferguson "what would your specialist subject be on mastermind?" his answer was "sweeties"

Derek Ferguson’s one of the better regular guests they have on. At least he tries to answer any points openly and honestly , such as his response to being quizzed on the story about the Hvns being interested in his son.

It is with a heavy heart I must announce that I have unsubscribed from the podcast.  It just isn't a good listen anymore.

I reached the same stage about two years ago.

Nowadays I just catch snippets in the car, and invariably seethe throughout my journey.

Listened to the latest podcast on the way to work this morning. Cosgrove is definitely losing the plot, he seems to be struggling even following the conversation path.

I liked him mentioning that his wee boy had appeared on a Beyonce video and even telling listeners at what point he is onscreen and what he was wearing as if anybody is going to Youtube it straight after the show just to see him. And anyway he's mentioned this a loads of times before.

Just don't listen to it. Life has so much more to offer.
