Cosgrove on his high horse again about financial doping and sustainability and in the same breath  has Fort William ie ICT Colts as his team of the year.

He also says they are winning regulalry. They currently ait bottom of the Highland League P10 L9.

As someone said before he obviously likes the idea and romance of the game and the details arent important.

He is a f^ckwit and an intellectual snob.

The financial doping stuff is rank hypocrisy from Cosgrove too. St Johnstone would be at the level of Raith Rovers if they had to rely on revenue generated only from football activities.

Good for them that the company has other revenue streams but its the equivalent of these newspaper  articles telling you how to own your own home in London by 25 and it turns out the wee posh twats were living rent free in a family owned home and had a stipend from mum and dad.

Saints have been luckier than most – but that luck was 30 years ago and people can't keep bringing it up as if it's the only reason for our success. It's far more down to good decision-making and managing available finances; the club's revenue from non-football activity is not big. So don't conflate that with financial doping – which is entirely different. Saints' owners haven't put any money into the club for 25 years – and even then it was a short-term loan. And historically, our income across all revenue streams – and it will be the same this season – is far less than Dundee United's. We can't – or won't – afford the sort of money United have paid players this year.

Since 1994 the club has lived within its means. Its lack of debt might be considered a lucky starting point, but weren't Dundee United in a similar position five years ago? We've never relied on a chairman's money to change things, even when relegated, and this despite being  relegated in 2002 thanks to the financial doping in rival clubs, and failing to gain promotion in 2007 thanks to Gretna's unsustainable bankrolling. We've never been part of that.

Thats all great and a credit to the Browns.

My point is his continual, why are all clubs not like St Johnstone, gets a bit tiresome.

I just wanted to throw in "rank hypocrisy" as its a Cosgrove favourite.

Rank hypocrisy when he asked Tam something along the lines of 'Why don't you get rid of your car as it's harmful to the environment.'

From a man who flies over to the States on a regular basis to research his books and who visits Sri Lanka several times a year.

Think he was a wee bit pissed off when Tam joked that he was a sexist dinosaur when Tam pointed out that Austin McPhee wasn't the manager with the longest hair as Shelley Long's hair  was longer, Stuart assuming automatically that all managers were male.

Slurp slurp. Their tongues must be exhausted after that demolition of Celtic and Sevco's arses.

They opened the show saying it was a great week for Scottish football. This was because Celtic and Sevco had great results in Europe on Thursday. Great for them but not for Scottish football. Cowan and Cosgrove then fawned over said results and the two teams.

Sad to see what they've become.

This was followed up by the bizarre comment that Dundee United 'suddenly' look like 'running away with the league' 'from out of nowhere'. First, United have been top for most of the season. Second Ayr could be only 3 points behind at 17.00 today. Thirs it's not even the middle of November. A lot of games to play.

Just fucking trash to come out with.

Two of the worst guests in the history of Off The Ball on this afternoon. I normally solider through no matter who the guests are but had to turn it off earlier as it was fucking torture.

Judith seems to be there so there’s an abundance of really, really fun boob jokes. Chic Murray’s daughter has been mostly spoken over but when given the chance hasn’t offered much but continually refers to her dad as Chic which is infuriating this listener at least.

Most of the show seemed to be 'TITS!', "Wasn't Chic Murray great?!" and sooking off Celtic and Sevco.
