If your fear happens NB there'd be worse leagues to drop into than new EOS Premier Division, which as it stands could contain all bar 1 of:

Penicuik, Newtongrange, Bonnyrigg
Musselburgh, Dunbar, Tranent, Preston
Leith
Broxburn, Linlithgow
Bo'ness, Camelon
Sauchie
Hill of Beath, Dundonald, Crossgates
Jeanfield

Plenty of big opponents and Midlothian derbies - plus you've never played most of them competitively before.

There would be decent gate money for Whitehill in that league, plus might get a good turn over the bar.

It would certainly be a challenging league for us, but great to have some local derbies, in front of bigger  crowds than we get at the moment .

And as a bonus, no midweek games to the far reaches of the borders for us :)

It ran oot o petrol :whistle

How's he doing? He could still do a job for us on the park as well.

Think he was in the running to get signed by Jock, but says they never got back to him. Has a good few boys working for him now, he was doing a couple of wee jobs for me.

That's a shame as he would have been a good leader on the park especially when the going is tough.
