The Falkirk defender put his arm across Moffat, though I agree that doesn’t show from the TV angle. Sure it was a straight up shoulder barge. There was another one later on when Moff was in the corner time wasting and the defender had his arm around him, then the foul was given and the defender was moaning to the ref and mimicking his action with his arm. So much so that teams would just deliberately switch it up if the won the toss. Remember it when I was a younger pup, and during the Reid years too. Probably been less so under McCall but most definitely makes for a roller coaster of emotions and good memories. Good to see the passion and determination from the players 2nd half yesterday. Decent turnout from Falkirk considering what they have gone through so far this season. Buzzing for Alloa (no pun intended). IIRC its currently 9-8 in favour of Road on Ayr goals scored

I'm glad we are good at filling some sort of role so far this season. Could be the worst season we've ever had. Or it could improve a lot and merely be terrible. First showing the referee by recreating it on Moffat, then the referee himself.
Taz
Very soft free kick leading to their 3rd. I said the same mate. Ref a few times in the game gave a free kick for a shoulder charge against both teams
North Terrace Gazza
Personally I thought the ref had a good game, got most of the calls right imo
19QOS19
If that shoulder barge by Muirhead is deemed a foul then we're as well making it a non-contact sport ffs. Ridiculous decision.

19QOS19
It was a shoulder barge and he out muscled Muirhead. Never a foul.

Shodwall cat
3 ayr goals are easily avoidable by any half decent side. If we'd kept them out first 15 mins of the second half we may have got a result but instead fasan lets shanklands powder puff shot past him and Ayrs tails are up. Second is dreadful defending as is the 3rd although its never a foul against muirhead. Feckin panic stations every time the ball ended up in our box second half. Shankland's shot wasn't powder puff, the footage doesn't do it justice he struck it well Im nearly 50 and i couldve saved that for fecks sake. It was hardly a howitzer into the top corner. Shocking goalkeeping and id expect even shankland was amazed it went in. Any half decent keeper saves that and its still nothing each and who knows what may have happened. Losing a silly goal so quickly gave Ayr the confidence to keep piling forward. We may have lost anyway but losing a goal like that changed the game. Has to get dropped for next week. AyrTroopMajor
Not sure what the numbers were from Falkirk but looked quite decent considering they are an absolute gang, Made good noise too until the Super turned it on. Absolutely trampled over the top of Falkirk in the second half but the timing of Shankland's goal was crucial. Right after half time, still ages to go, and the Falkirk players knew it. If that hadn't gone in, who knows what would have happened. And for the record, it shouldn't have gone in. That goalkeeper is absolutely f*****g shite by the way.
