if we could get Yogi of ten years ago you'd take him.  If we get Yogi from Raith you'd run a mile.

There's really not a lot out there is there.  I can't get excited about Jim McIntyre at all.

Jim Duffy seems to have a done a decent job at Morton.

Gary Caldwell being spoken about??

Part of me would love to see a Latapy Yogi dream team.

YOu would think they might have seen someone out there before making the decision but maybe it got so bad they've decided he had to go even without a plan b.

Duffy did a pretty good job at Morton, we were pretty much always competitive due to Duffyball and had some really good runs of results. A couple of warnings for any Falkirk fans who might think that Duffy would fix their problems (if any such people really exist).

1. He took a long time to settle into the job at Morton. We lost in the Scottish Cup to Spartans and looked down and out in the title race until a fairly miraculous finish saw us climb the table (we were 2-0 down at home to Stenny in the fourth last match, Paul McMullen missed a great one on one chance to make make it 3-0 and we came back in the final 15 minutes to win 3-2, then we won our remaining 3 games). Unfortunately, we fell apart in the final quarters of the following 3 seasons.

2. Duffyball has serious limitations. Essentially, this is what a football pitch looks like to Jim Duffy:

When you have a midfield of Paton and TOE, that game plan looks v appealing.
