Was what I expected would have happened. Wee bit surprised Ayr seemed so easy to deal with mind you.

We don't mind Falkirk, mainly because you're not Dunfermline. All the best for the rest of the season.

^ This.

I wouldn't wish Roberts on any club.

Incidentally, he's just become a coach at Queens Park.

Good luck to him.

McCall hasn't got long term contract might even be week to week so we would be powerless to stop him talking go any club, maybe part of him staying with us is a new long term deal.

Looks like no one wants to come to you guys with only a day left on the transfer window.

Yer board should have read P&B to see that you guys were warning of this a couple of weeks back.

Davy Irons currently managing Gretna 2008 must be edging up on the list with the number of knockbacks you've had.   His nephew Aero could be his Assistant. Your last two Managers have been arseholes but that pair would top the lot.

bit of a worry if Jim McIntyre is knocking us back though.  Can't think he'll get any offers anywhere near as good as Falkirk anytime soon.

McIntyre is going to be one of the leading candidates for any Championship job which comes up. It's not surprising that he'd rather bide his time for a job coming up through a manager moving to a bigger club leaving a decent squad with a shot at the playoffs or even the title behind, or at least a club who sack their manager for mediocrity later in the season.

It's entirely feasible that he's looked at Falkirk's squad and decided trying to survive a relegation battle with that just isn't worth the risk when he could be in with a chance of the Dundee United or Partick job if he waits a few months. With the squad Hartley's left behind every other club in the Championship probably looks more appealing to a manager like McIntyre right now. He can wait for a club that can give him a chance to compete for promotion straight away, or he can take the risk of lifting Falkirk away from relegation with an eye on promotion in future seasons and fail, destroying his reputation and sending him to the seaside leagues.
