Hello! Hello! We’re bottom of the league and you’re no!

Recommended Posts

Well folks, it’s time to face the elephant, of should that be Kelpie, in the room.

With the remote outposts of Ayr and Dingwall donininating the top of the league celebratory thread, it has almost, almost, gone unnoticed that a far more centrally located team has continued its relentless, vertiginous descent to territories usually seen as the preserve of part time village teams.

Going in to September, Falkirk have held off the determined efforts of Alloa, with Dunfermline Athletic also showing a keen interest in grabbing bottom spot.

A big well done to Hartley and the boys but for how long can they hold on to the keys?

All the wee teams are gloating early this season. This could end up being glorious.

Not for Falkirk. However it will be glorious for the rest of the league when the inevitable relegation to the seaside league comes for McKinnons Bairns.

If he’s still in the job then that is.

I'd concentrate on holding onto Shankland beyond January before you start gloating over league positions. Long way to go, a lot of football to be played and a lot of injuries to occur.

And there's a point too, our team is mince. We wouldn't miss anyone. Shankland leaves or gets a long term injury, or Dobbie gets crocked? Hilarity abounds.

You seem like a very angry man.
