Peter Alexander
For away fans travelling to Lowland League fixtures against East Stirlingshire at Falkirk Stadium, just to let you know that Laurieston Bowling Club will be offering its clubhouse (free of charge) as a pre- and post-match venue for visiting supporters buses. Situated under a mile from the stadium, our newly refurbished function suite and lounge hosts a pool table, a dart board, free wifi and two plasma screens showing all major sporting events. Furthermore, we offer wines, beers and spirits at affordable prices. If you would like to take us up on this offer, please get in touch with an idea of times/numbers and we would be more than happy to provide complimentary snacks (pies, soup, stovies etc) For more information, check out our website at www.lauriestonbowlingclub.com. selfassemblyshire
The parking at the bowling club is horrendous. Where will there be a space for the bus to park on that main road?
Peter Alexander
As we say on our website, car park spaces are limited. But previous supporters buses have parked at the car park on Laurieston Square.

Peter Alexander
We recently hosted a supporters club from Montrose who thoroughly enjoyed their day and had no issues with parking. And we regularly welcome visiting bowling clubs who arrive by bus. Yes, it's a busy road, but as I said in my previous message, there is a car park just along the road from the club at the village square - which is free. holme
With the south stand bar shut for this, and only the bar in the main stand open this may be a better bet for the traveling hoards of Kelty fans The main stand bar is a bit on the dear side for a can of Guinness It's nice enough though
