Doolan9
Well I think receiving negatives from Morton fans on a dig at Morton’s fans seems like a very unsurprising result bud[emoji1303]
Virtual Insanity
Think on the Erskine one the ref obviously knew he'd made a f**k up and sending Erskine off after the first one had been for dissent for said f**k up would have compounded the error. Agree that the 'only team in Glasgow' stuff is cringe. Good second half performance yesterday, but we're still relying almost completely on Erskine to break down defences. Once we were a goal up we have a team that keeps possession reasonably well and can deal with long balls reasonably well. Spittal is nowhere near the shitebag that some people make out (genuinely no idea where he gets that reputation) but he needs to take more responsibility with the ball, especially when his alternative is a short pass to Christie Elliott. vikingTON
King Snake's interviews all pointed to Johnstone being nowhere near full match fitness so it was a bizarre decision to start him yesterday. The main thing that concerns me is that when Plan A wasn't working yesterday our apparent solution was a youth ringer like Ben Armour, who has made no impact at this level and should be punted out on loan to seaside league teams until he makes a case for himself. That complete lack of squad depth will be the main difference between the likes of Ross County and ourselves over the course of the season IMO. If we can find a competent, non-snakey manager, get Johnstone up to speed a bit more and finally launch McHugh into the sea in the next fortnight then perhaps we can get back on course. At least Falkirk got horsed.

GiGi
Anderson/Sutton changing the team was a bad move and the subs were laughable. The team that started last week would have fared better than Bob McHugh failing as an outside forward and falling into some strange and ineffective wing back position. Telfer and Iredale sitting on the bench at the end of the game was awful management on the day.
Fuctifano
Sutton should have registered himself as a player and brought himself on for the last 20, he'd probably have scored against us.

Don't think there's been a single post from a Morton fan on this thread that didn't agree that Thistle deserved to win the game, and that it should have been by 2-0. Why that should stop us from making a couple of mild comments about the guy getting the way attendance woefully wrong and his failure to get any real response from the crowd re chanting the goalscorer's name I really don't know. Looks to me like someone being just a wee bit too precious here.

Fuctifano
We've been doing the goalscorer's name thing for about 4 years now, didn't really notice it being any different yesterday. Noticed Celtic did it today as well. Obviously works better in Germany where they do the score if they're winning and the fans then immediately follow into a song.
