When you see somebody in the street who you know, but aren’t close with/haven’t seen in a while and neither of you know whether to stop and chat or leave it as a passing “alright” to each other, and it results in a beyond awkward hybrid of the two.

Speaking of hybrids, anyone else find themselves merging words inadvertently then cringing immediately after they say them?

My latest was “chanks” so some shop c**t the other day.

Im just going to stop talking to people and pretend im deafdumb.
