A few highlights for today:

1. Stanford (7) @ Oregon (20) - Big game in the Pac 12 North, interesting to see Herbert against a top opponent. Underrated division with these two and Washington.

2. Texas A&M (22) @ Alabama (1) - A&M gave Clemson a great game, Alabama look unstoppable but worth a watch to see if A&M can put up some resistance.

3. Texas Tech @ Oklahoma State (15) - Definition of a shootout. Oklahoma State will win but it should be wild.

4. TCU (17) @ Texas - Texas coming off a big win against USC hosting a cracking TCU team.

5. Georgia (2) @ Missouri - Georgia should win handily but interested to see Drew Lock against a top defence, he could easily be the first QB off the board in next year's draft

Honourable mention for Notre Dame (8) @ Wake Forest.

Arizona State @ Washington (10) could be a doozy as well. But then again I am a little biased!

What a come back from Stanford. 24-7 down at one stage. Defence rescued them twice with a fumble return for a TD and then another fumble recovery in last minute which set up field goal that allowed them to tie the game. Won game in O/T.

Best week of the season so far by a distance! Questionable games on BT unfortunately. Not going to come up with a top 5, I find all of these really interesting. Ohio State @ Penn State is the pick of the bunch though.

Syracuse @ Clemson (3)

West Virginia (12) @ Texas Tech (25)

Virginia Tech @ Duke (22)

Ohio State (4) @ Penn State (9)

South Carolina @ Kentucky (17)

Stanford (7) @ Notre Dame (8)

BYU (20) @ Washington (11)

Ole Miss @ LSU (5)

Oregon (9) @ Cal (24)

Iowa State @ TCU

Florida @ Mississippi State (23)

Utah @ Washington State

Michigan (14) @ Northwestern

Tennessee @ Georgia (2)

Are Duke good this year? Always have them down as a basketball college; I can't remember them being so highly ranked before?

They're 4-0 to start, haven't played anyone great yet but picked up decent wins over Army and Northwestern. Really interesting game against VA Tech who were highly touted but lost to seaside league team Old Dominion last week.

Jeez. Will Grier on fire?

Watched Miami vs UNC this afternoon, Miami are a different team with Perry in at QB although it was questionable opposition. The Miami defence were incredible, some first round NFL talent on that side of the ball. Should have enough to see off that gang from Trailerhassee next week.

35-10 halftime. Yeah he's ripped them a new one. Almost 300 yards passing from him already.

Clemson really struggling at home to Syracuse, the third string QB is in after a huge hit on Trevor Lawrence and Kelly Bryant spitting the dummy.

Syracuse are showing them no respect at all, they didn't let Clemson take knees at the end of the half and used timeouts to make them use all four downs. Clemson crowd were incandescent. Commentators described it as "greedy" but I love it, great confidence. They don't look apologetic or in awe of being up by 9.
