LinkinFighter
Yeah you, you averagy looking cocktease. You girl who got yourself alone from your mates, who started dancing with me, who made me laugh, and yeah, you lured me off the dancefloor and I actually even offered to buy you a drink. Well see when I look round, you have a faceful of another bloke, then f**k you! And don't try and act like nothing happened. f**k you you cockteasing bitch! Richey Edwards
I don't drink alcohol, and it would surprise you the amount of people who find that offensive.

The Moonster
Yeah, I don't think these stats are all that shocking. A lot of Scots like to get drunk and a lot of drunk people are arseholes. I don't get the "vulnerable" dancefloor thing, that makes little sense to me. Vulnerable to what? A slagging for not having a drink? Weird one. On a more serious note, is this really bullying? The Moonster
Just now, welshbairn said: Shy I suppose, without alcohol to loosen inhibitions. Again, makes little sense to me. If you're a non-drinker and you're heading to a nightclub full in the knowledge that being on the dancefloor without a drink will make you anxious then I have to question what you're doing there. If you're a drinker standing on the dancefloor feeling vulnerable then going to the bar and getting a drink solves your problem.
Cerberus
If they bully you then they are not your friends.
The OP
Blaming other folk for the drunken mess you get into is a Scottish tradition, which we hold quite dear.
mizfit
I’ve got one pal who I’m concerned has a drink problem. At least 5 times a week I’ll get a message and an offer of a drink at his. I don’t mind going in to see him, but he’ll sink 4 cans in the time it’ll take you to do one, then pressure you into staying if you make excuses. I'm ashamed that I wouldn't even think about dancing if I hadn't had a few pints. When I do I think I'm brilliant, sober I'd realise I'm like Ricky Gervais. Scotland will be grateful that my solo clubbing days are over. Going to Spain in October though!
ICTChris
If I’ve ever had people attempt to pressure me into drinking it kind of makes me more determined not to give in and have a drink.
