The young lad at Celtic, Jack Aitchison is getting rave reviews with the Under 19’s and in the Celtic Development Squad.

Hopefully not another Mark Burchill/Tony Watt type figure.

Worth noting Watt is our first choice striker and genuinely looks like hes realised its his last chance. Still only 24.

Hornby is the big 6ft 4in striker we’ve been lacking for many years. He’s got ability too. . Not for the team yet, but in a couple of years. McBurnie will be a good player. Aitchison needs a season loan somewhere.

McBurnie is fine for back up, Griffiths is first choice and only player ready to play. McNulty being talked about and I wouldn’t be against him getting in the mix, albeit he was at Coventry last year but he looked good. And we don’t have a hell of a lot of options.

This kid is 18, hasn't played a senior match (for Everton or on loan) yet but you think he'll be ready for the Scotland national team in 2 years?  What am I missing here?

Foresight. McBurnie was playing for us at 21 and Hornby is already a bigger physical presence than him or any of our other  options.

McBurnie had made his senior debut at 18.  You said Hornby had great ability, can I ask where you've seen this ability?
