Szamo's_Ammo Posted August 22, 2018 Author Share Posted August 22, 2018 I don't remember 2003 still but I didn't go to Firhill for the first time until the first season of Thistle's next promotion to the top flight. We had loads of relegation battles around that time so it's hard to pinpoint which was which. Inverness in 2005 is still one of my favourite moments as a United fan. Barry Robson Jim Paterson was hugely talented. If it weren't for injuries he would have played at a much higher level. Motherwell fans I have spoken to will say the same. The last time the two clubs met, in 2016, Cammy Smith scored a hat trick in the first 30 minutes of a 3-1 last 16 League Cup tie at Tannadice. The last league meeting ended in a 3-3 draw with Edward Ofere and Justin Johnson (whatever happened to him?) scoring late on to salvage a point for Le Tangerines.
