Neither Mark nor Cunny have confirmed or denied this so would suggest too me there must be some truth in it

Rumours seem to be centred round Mark and Duffy but agree with you none of the parties concerned seem to be saying anything

Duffy? As in the Duffy at crosshouse to be the next shortlees manager?

Heard this also. Maybe player manager.

Aye. Heard Duffy can't commit too training though and that's why he stayed at a lower level so be interesting too see if he can commit too management. In terms of a player/manager he's had a good career but in terms of a premier player now he's miles off

What constitutes big? Rab
Well the premier really been nowhere else in any cups unless u count the Hamilton tarmac trophy they have a chance of winning that . Always there or there abouts but always bottle it that result on Saturday shows it .

So "big" is the league?? - There can be only one winner, therefore the other 11 teams must have no bottle either by that logic, including HT or Lees (whichever misses out that season)

GMW perhaps are simply just not good enough to sustain the challenge for 22 games??? Different to having no bottle.

Already beat HT this year in the HT bar trophy and knocked Lees out the Ayrshire (which surely is "big"),  as well as beating them in the league. Seams they have the bottle for the big game.

Were you at the game on Saturday Rab. Keeper off injured and C/H sent off would certainly make it difficult for any team to succeed, bottle or not!!!

I was at the game and it was extremely comfortable for HT who were never in any danger. Glenburn do have the capabilities to beat anyone on their day as you have just proven by earlier victories over the top 2. If they win Ayrshire then that will prove they have it in them to win the big trophies but sadly just like the league i believe they will fall short

They have done consistently well  in league , just need to go that final step, but considering the quality shortlees have had legally, and the quality thistle have illegally, then they’ve done well to be in their wae a shout as late in the season. Who knows , with shortlees in transition next year , and if Willie tarmac stops wasting money , they might win it next year . Lol

100% agree. They just lack that bit of added quality to sustain the challenge for 22 games and get over the line. Nothing to do with bottle!!!

They certainly don't have a Knapp or Gold or the Tarmac cash but they've a good squad and have consistently been best of the rest.

Will be interesting to see how Shortlees re-build without that quality available and also where the dirty money lands next season.

So that's galston been relegated I see after cumnocks win last night. A real shame and just shows how unforgiven the premier league can be. Hopefully they can regroup in the summer and give promotion a right good go.

Sometimes relegation from the premier is a blessing in disguise. Allows teams too be competitive again which can be an attraction to players. Only one from two teams is ever going too win the premier league
