McCann the favourite for this again.

Canning will never get sacked. Livi and St Mirren have invested too much into their new managers to out them.

ITK IMO.

TBF he would prob have been spot on if Livi hadn't put a 2 months probationary term into Millers player/manager contract and acted on it before it ran out and a large compensation payment came into play.

Tbf, if my auntie had balls she'd be my uncle, etc.

Is that what's happened? Fair play to them for acting, then. Shame no such clause exists at SMP.

tbf, this is Dundee, it's open season for all sorts of shit up there..

Ok, so Miller is wanting to play, the club didn't want him to play. Honestly if that is how both parties feel then it makes sense for him to quit. After all he can manage later, he's limited on how long he can continue playing. Now the question is, who will pick up his playing contract? It'll be a bit of a poisoned chalice. Not only is he a known unsettling element in the dressing room, you know he's keen on management and any manager taking him on must feel like there is a cuckoo in the nest then add in the fact you have the spectre of both OF hanging over him.

You're doing well.

Won’t be Stubbs. We gave him a three year deal, and he comes in with Brian Rice and Darren Jackson in tow. We need this appointment to work out, and not to be bagging another under-contact manager. Pretty sure at one point we had seven ex-managers all still being paid / paid off. :P

Is that eight now?

And McCann still hangs on.

Alan Stubbs just isn’t a very good manager

It was pretty evident in that he led Hibs to our lowest ever rank, third in the second tier. The fact he isn’t a good manager has been confirmed and compounded by his last two appointments

He is a legend at Easter Road for winning the cup but that doesn’t mean he’s above criticism when it’s merited. Doolan and Taff were the brains of the operation
