Thinking about driving on Saturday, is it easy enough to get parked in a side street near the stadium?

Yeah. Murano Street probably the closest, but a bit of a detour getting back to the motorway after the game.

Napiershall Street & North Woodside Road are a bit further out but still a close enough walk and you'll always get a space somewhere around there easily.

PS my team for saturday

Reckon we need to keep Dallison in there. He clearly needs to get up to speed in the Championship, so unless he’s injured, benching him ain’t the best plan. Strikes me as the kind of guy who will be desperate to right any wrongs.

Harrison and Muirhead are I think, way too slow in either direction. If it’s Haber and Lewis again, then for God’s sake, they have to play within shouting distance of one another, not 30 metres apart. Last week was like two people up front both looking like they were part of a one man up front set up.

Just so Falkirk don't have a monopoly on this...

Bell

Elliot & Melbourne wing backs

Keown, O'Ware and mcginty back 3

Penrice and Mccarthy centre mids

Slater #10

Doolan and Storey front 2.

Falkirk playing with at least one and probably two big lumps up front, need a spare man at the back to mop up all the headers we'll lose.

Penrice and Mccarthy in the middle to kick things, Slater clearly seems better further forward, front two are the only options, and no Spittal or Gordon please.

I think Hartley will go for this on Saturday:

Fasan

Muirhead McGhee Dallison Russell

Petra Paton Irving TOE Lewis

Haber

Subs- Mutch, Harrison, Kidd, Sammut, Greenwood, Mackin, Turner

The defence being the only real department there that maybe different, the pre season/cup games have helped us tho....!!

I've even got a feeling we might go with a back three with McGhee right wing back and Russell left wing back. The beauty of that sees Petra dropped

Irving toe Paton midfield

Haber Lewis or Mackin

It for sure isn't quality over quantity

Rightly or wrongly, there is no chance in f**k that any Alan Archibald team would have a midfield two of McCarthy and Penrice.

Absolutely. Pending signings (stop laughing at the back) im expecting Elliott for Penrice to be the only change from last week.

Are we at the stage of setting up with a 3-5-2 at home to a Falkirk side who’ve brought in 16 players and are in a transitional phase? Quite possibly. I’d risk the old 4-2-3-1 at least until we run out of ideas.

The main worry would be central defence though. Do we allow McGinty to plough on, is Keown too similar in position to O’Ware?

Full backs take care of themselves, Elliott (Rab) and Melbourne (lb)

Sitting midfielders? I’d probably keep Slater in next to McCarthy.

Spittal, Storey and Erskine in behind with Doolan up top.

ETA: Fitzpatrick in for Erskine.

Bell

Elliott O’Ware McGinty  Melbourne

Slater McCarthy

Spittal Storey Fitzpatrick

Doolan

Falkirk fans have had what feels like about 30 attempts at formations/lineups in this thread. Always different.

We've had 2 and they're identical.

We've signed 16 new players mate. How many have you signed?

Looks like we're making the same point then! Sorry!

Yeah, my post was a dig at Thistle rather than Falkirk, really.

We've got absolutely f**k all in the way of options or depth right now.

And there’s a 0% chance that we will actually start that team.

Oo, am up for this. Was a fairly mediocre rb back in the day, but a right back nonetheless
