Was that your attitude in the play-offs last 2 seasons? emoji23.pngemoji23.pngemoji23.pngemoji23.png

I never had an attitude in the play offs just glad we got through them tbh. I was just saying that just because WW have a good past history in the EOSL and SC over the years dosn't mean that they were immune from getting beat 6-0 off Kelty the other night.

Whether it good call or not are we no stuck wi the same players now for the season?

A new manager might be able to kick a few arses but end of day it might be just too late to get new players in.

If anyone can motivate you short term, jock can

If you’d like to read these two posts again, then apologise to me that would be good. I wasn’t having a dig at the manager, it was a dig at the committee. James said he should have went in may, then why didn’t he, why humiliate the man after 2 games into this season, when they could have quietly told him his services wouldn’t be required for this season. My point is the committee haven’t been brilliant at all through this, imo of course

History is exactly what it is history its what happens in the present day that matters. Every club has history and most have had a doing at one time or another.

Very few have our history

Every club whether successful or not has a history, clubs should remember that history but not come across as arrogant thinking they've got a god given right to be at a level where they don't deserve to be.

I had to laugh at someone from kelty saying they were just happy being in a game last night instead of thrashing everybody all the time.

I think the comment you refer to by the other poster was to a certain extent justified. Football is meant to be competitive , if the games aren't as a lot of them were last season then that isn't good for anybody.

There be a lot of competitive games in this league then. It tends to throw up odd results. You seem to be a work in progress wi 4 points from 9.

You saying you be happy mid table then.

I doubt very much yer ambitious committee be happy wi that. There s only one place they want to be and it aint the LL imo of course ;)

Lowland league is the top league in the area, would I be happy with mid table? Personally yes, I am expecting Kelty to finish top half this season but have doubts whether the current squad is good enough to challenge top four from last season. The club and the people running it aren't in this for the short term , they are trying to build something here and its taking a lot of effort from them to get this far in what is a short space of time. I'm not sure any of them expect to be in SPFL in the next few seasons anyway. :)

Good to see your u-20 side were a bit more competitive today, not sure how many of the team were left from last season, enjoyed watching them last year when they played the Shipyard up at Kelty.

The squad and management are more than capable of mounting a title challenge whether that’s this season or next.

At the moment we are doing a lot of learning with new grounds and new teams and we will do that quickly, it’s a competitive league that we are absolutely loving being part of it and the challenge it poses.

As it stands with the 3 stages of getting into the SPFL by winning the LL, winning the HL/LL play off then the SPFL Club 42 play off then the odds on getting to the SPFL for our club is around 25 to 1. We try to look at things in a logical way, by doing this we know it’s very slim we will ever be in the SPFL in the next 5 year while the current system in place.

The club is being future proofed off the pitch for the long term.

That would be me and yes I was happy to see Kelty getting a good test as it rarely happened last season , game could’ve went either way last night which is a lot better than watching a 4,5,-9,10 nil win

lads will learn a lot more from one of these games than the whole of last season in what the requirements are for progression

And the Colts were excellent last night

Yip but there's only one golden ticket at the end of it.

Maybes the LL should push for more like others are wanting at the bottom end  :whistle
