Corbyn's lawyers now getting involved. Starmer has absolutely fucked this.

I doubt it'll go that far but it'd be fun if this did actually end up in court, he'll be able to clean out every media organisation in the country for libel if he wanted to

He'll "die of old age" before it's allowed to get to that point.

I’d love to see Starmer’s priority list as leader of the official Westminster opposition.

Winning the next General Election will be number one - as it should be.

Looks like he's doing well on that one - the rest is just noise and irrelevant.

Shocking decision by Starmer if not unexpected, his extremist cheerleaders of Hodge, Kyle etc calling the shots from the sidelines and totally ignoring the facts to pursue their own sickening agenda.

What can you say, it's a sad day when the Tories and an extremist Jewish splinter group are dictating policy within the Labour party.

Hopefully McCluskey and others now withdraw all funding and support as that is presumably the only language that they understand.

Wow, that's a pretty strong description. Entirely fucking accurate, mind, and fits neatly as a subset of the first group. No true Socialist could call themselves a Friend of Israel while the current regime continues its genocidal strategy.

Really? You don't think the proven incompetence (rather than the prospect of such that Corbyn faced) of Johnson and his cronies has something to do with it?

Starmer "presents well", but is no more a Labour man than Blair. You don't get knighted for services to the People.

Corbyn gave the Tories an out. Whatever they did didn't matter because everybody was pointing and laughing at Corbyn. The clown has gone now (pretty much) so the focus has switched back to the Tories and they're not doing well.

Corbyn never gave the Tories an out. The right wing of the Labour Party and the corporate media did. "Antisemitism" was never a "problem" before Corbyn became leader and suddenly it's not a problem now that he isn't. It also isn't a problem that the actual Prime minister of the UK IS a PROVEN anti-Semite.

The Labour left (which is actually just what the entire Labour party should be) were sabotaged from the inside by your Kinnocks, Hodges, Austins and Starmers of this world, of that there's no doubt and unfortunately they're so far detached from what the Labour party stand for that they should really be wearing blue rosettes rather than red.

As you say, the anti semitism thing is just a red herring created to bash the "socialists"  irrespective of the facts, evidence and reality. The bottom line is that Corbyn and his team were setup and there was no comeback.

The most worrying thing throughout all of this is how facts don't mean anything as the truth kept being twisted and the Right wing Jewish narrative was the only one that was given credence, everything else was ignored. The left leaning Jewish group obviously didn't count as "real" Jews as they were behind Corbyn and agreed he had no case to answer, so again this confirms that the issue was political ideology as opposed to anything religious.

The real worry here is that anti semitism DOES increase as a result of this witch hunt.

Personally I don't think Labour can come back from this until they rid themselves of disgusting characters such as Hodge as these people are contrary to everything that the Labour party is supposed to represent and are basically betraying their own membership but I'll not be holding my breath......

I take your point but you realise that's a guardian article?

Not sure the readership of the Guardian.  But you’re right I should have said, “I look forward to this being the headline on the BBC at 10.00”.

It's so cool that there's been like 5 scandals involving the EHRC in the last year and yet criticising them is the sign of a crank.

There just isn't the same skepticism around the more obscure public institutions like the EHRC imo. People are much happier to accept that it does what it says on the tin. I mean it's got human rights in the name must be a great bunch of lads surely?!

The tweet from Douglas Murray that this guy specifically liked was one where Murray - libellously - called Priyamvada Gopal a 'race baiter'. Something which Gopal recently successfully sued the Mail for printing.

Truly the thickest country on the planet. Even worse than America.
