All the chat about people in politics suing each other over this issue and others is just so tedious. I'd like to see some kind of precedent set where a judge would just tell them to gtf for once.

The English legal system loves shit like this. They will put anything in front of a court if it means some lawyers can upgrade their holiday homes. See Boris Berezosky Vs Abramovich asking a court to split the loot from robbing the corpse of the USSR and current four week farce between Depp and Heard. It's near impossible for an average person to get access to an employment tribunal but any hubristic millionaire can have their own trial of the century.

Libel threats are also a good way of controlling what people can say but thankfully crowd funding is blunting that. A journalist threatening libel is the lowest of the low.

https://jacobinmag.com/2020/09/jeremy-corbyn-chile-salvador-allende-socialism A good interview with Jez about his relationship with Chile. I didn't know that in the 90s the Tories brought Pinochet's Labour minister over to talk about the benefits of privatising the state pension system.

Pinochet was Thatcher's favourite dictator - not a surprise really that Tories saw nothing wrong in cosying up to what they saw as free market bedfellows.

Times reporting about some actual prejudice in politics.

The dog whistle racism of these cùnts is disturbing in so many ways.  Yet it also masks the need to have a genuine look at how repressive religion is.  After all you cannot make any dispassionate or objective criticisms of Islam* without being tagged as part of the “Islamophobic” gutter rats.

* other religions also deserve objective criticism.

The big anti semitism report is out. Despite it being a massively biased Tory led joke and having all the evidence submitted by Hasbara funded nut jobs they could only find two examples of harassment. One is Ken Livingstone's idiotic comments which I don't see can be construed as harassing anyone and another is a councillor who posted  a Rothschild meme.

Two incidents from party of half a million people over 4 years. As many Tory MPs have been charged with rape in the last two years.

All the 'leftist' blue checkers are "slowly reading the report" hoping someone else will call it bullshit first. The complete failure to hold any sort of line on the smears was utterly pathetic.

This thread title is a bit strange I must say, I shudder to think what's going to be in here after reading posters like Bawwatching post blatant antisemitic sentiments and their having been barely a ripple made.

Anyway here is a quote from the report as the previous poster seems to have misread it and is now perhaps accidentally downplaying the severity of the claims and conclusions..

"Its report said the party was responsible for three breaches of the Equality Act: political interference in anti-Semitism complaints, failure to provide adequate training to those handling anti-Semitism complaints and harassment.

In a statement, it said: "The equality body's analysis points to a culture within the party which, at best, did not do enough to prevent anti-Semitism and, at worst, could be seen to accept it."

Not often that I will agree with your take on things but the Anti-Semitism and bigotry on here is disgusting. Hilarious that the same people who will scream about any perceived racist slight seem to care not a jot about the Children of Jah.

Some of the supposedly antisemitic accusations are proven fact, like the Israel lobby pushing hard against Corbyn. There wouldn't be much point of an Israel lobby if they didn't try to undermine someone with obvious sympathy for the Palestinians, and there are filmed recordings of Israeli embassy officials bragging about how they go about it.

The interference in a complaint that I’ve seen cited is Corbyn’s office attempting to expedite the suspension of Livingstone lol

Besides Baw Watchin’s obvious anti-semitism which should’ve seen a warning at a minimum what is the other anti-semitism and bigotry on here?

Ah the power of the Whatsapp group. If you cannot see it, I cannot educate you as there is none so blind as those who will not see.
