Since I have broken my silence on this thread, Corbyn is too stupid to be a real antisemite and be able to hide it. But he is also too stupid to be able to see the more subtle types of discrimination of the world when its on his side of the fence. His political enemies have made hay on his brain dead inability to grasp why the story has more legs than "tories linked to hate group". You know the tories are going to be linked to hate groups, they had the bloody Monday Club inside their parliamentary party for long enough. But when you are making a huge song and dance about an issues that challange peoples views of themselves (as Labour do with sexism, racism, homophobia) you are expected to be cleaner than clean, its why Labours sex scandals never hurt them but the tories get trashed by them (Back to Basics), Tories like to go to town on high moral standards and all that.. Same phenomena on the other foot. The dyed in the wool hating Israel every day type poster will not see this. But I think it will make sense to one or two others.

Corbyn knows 2 things

1. He is not an anti-semite

2. His actions won't stop him being attacked for being an anti-semite

There is literally no way to appease the people attacking him other than for him to resign as leader which he will never do. So it isn't really a matter of him being "stupid" or "brain dead" as there is literally nothing he can do to stop people with an agenda against him from posting lies and bullshit.

The fact that you accept that Tories willl be linked o hate groups and don't see that  as a problem is mind blowing. Why don't you care about it? Is it because the news is telling you not to care? Because the Telegraph publish BoJo's blatant Islamophobia, the BBC carry water for Andrew Neil's cuddling up to Hungarian fascists. You not being able to fairly equate things shows you are stupid and brain dead. You are saying things are just this way an you are unable to change things in your mind because you are intellectually lazy and don't want to get out your comfort zone.

And just for completeness what are some notable Labour Sex Scandals?

I think Boris has taken the heat off Corbyn for the minute. If only there was more attention paid to the raft of Tory councillors who make Boris look like a leftie.

It shows how totally inept Johnson is and how desperate he is for the limelight.  Putting political loyalities aside, was there a more stupid time from in electoral terms (as oppossed to political terms) for Johnson to have made his comments.

Some folk will shout "conspiracy theory" but the state of Israel trying to undermine someone who is anti-Zionist and could become UK PM should be of no surprise to any thinking person.

Jeremy Corbyn an "Existential threat to Jewish  life."? Really?!?  Cuddly beardy Jeremy? What's he going to do?

Definitely a bit over the top to claim that but vetoing action against Iran's nuclear programme at the UN is a possible one. He has appeared on Press TV quite a bit and I think even accepted money for doing so at one point, which is even more inadvisable in optics terms than Alex Salmond's willingness to use RT as a platform.

I assumed they meant Jewish life in Britain.

There's no obvious rationale for why a country that is so rich in oil and natural gas would go to all that trouble to build nuclear power stations, if it isn't about covertly building up a stock of weapons grade plutonium and doing what North Korea have done in recent times.

Of course, but they're under the strictest inspection regime going at the moment. Trump's sanctions could well blow that apart, and strengthen the hardliners.

...which creates the situation in which Israel doesn't want Corbyn to have a UN security council veto at his disposal. The Israelis rightly or wrongly believe that Iran is still intent on building nuclear weapons that will be aimed primarily at them. Massive double standard involved in that given everybody knows they have them even if they are ambiguous about it and the UN has done nothing about it in sanctions terms given the US will pretty much always veto action against them, but this is what explains the overall level of hysteria.

That's not how I read what he posted.

He's saying that's how the media and the public deal with it/perceive the issues with the different political parties. - it might not be right but it's the reality.

Aye well if there wasn't a country right next to them with fucking millions of nuclear weapons who regularly threaten to turn Iran to glass they wouldn't need to.  It's entirely reasonable and legitimate for Iran to want nuclear weapons and entirely hypocritical and unfair for the west to oppose it while turning a blind eye to Israel's nuclear weapons.

Israel refuse to sign the non proliferation treaty btw or submit to inspections.  All in breach of international law.  Google nuclear ambiguity.

The fact he willingly buys into that reality is the problem.

And that is the actual issue. Jeremy Corbyn stood next to a racist , condemned by the media. Tory politician write overtly racist newspaper columns on top of previous racist remarks and it is all a misunderstanding.
