Tremendous. Well done to that, now likely unemployed, till programmer.

I presume this was posted online by some outraged Heil reader who wanted the shop burnt down. Or, at least, a star painted on the outside as a warning.

Not sure anything that that happens in 2066 will be of interest to me.

45 years for you must surely feel like a month to the rest of us, Methuselah.

£3.39 for Weetabix is pretty fucking steep.

Organic Weetabix.

Been a while since I lived in London, but I'm surprised it isn't double that. I had to pay £1.99 for a can of Coke once when they cost about 25p everywhere else.

£10.99 for Campo Viejo Reserve!  Usually about £8 from the supermarket and I’ve bought it for as little as £6.50 in the last year.

“...each act, each occasion, is worse than the last, but only a little worse,”  “You wait for one great shocking occasion, thinking that others, when such a shock comes, will join with you in resisting somehow.” But that moment never came. “That’s the difficulty,” the philologist told Mayer. “If the last and worst act of the whole regime had come immediately after the first and smallest, thousands, yes millions would have been sufficiently shocked… But of course this isn’t the way it happens. In between come all the hundreds of little steps, some of them imperceptible, each of them preparing you to not be shocked by the next. Step C is not so much worse than Step B, and, if you did not make a stand at Step B, why should you at Step C? And so on to Step D.”

Just finished my 4 days at work - have I missed the current Naga Munchetty/Union Jack row or is it tucked away in some other thread?

Surely the response is way OTT especially Conservative MP Lia Nici's snide response to "love the flag or move to another country".
