It would be absolutely magnificent if the fat useless c**t not only ruins himself, but also brings down some nutbag Republican Senator, all because he basically hired Lionel Hutz to represent him 😂

There's a big debate in the US at the moment about whether his briefs were incompetent (his current lawyer is number 12 to have represented him solely on this case) or whether they've shafted him intentionally. Either way, it's tremendous.

Jones and his company are worth up to $270 million, economist Bernard Pettingill, who was hired by the plaintiffs to study Jones' net worth, testified Friday. Pettingill said records show that Jones withdrew $62 million for himself in 2021, when default judgments were issued in lawsuits against him.

"That number represents, in my opinion, a value of a net worth," Pettingill said. "He's got money put in a bank account somewhere."

The money that flows into Jones' companies eventually funnels its way to him, said Pettingill, who added that he has testified in approximately 1,500 cases during his career.

"He is a very successful man," Pettingill said, calling Jones a "maverick" and "revolutionary" for finding ways to monetize his online messaging.

Not sure his bankruptcy application's gonna get humored.

Seems in Texas punitive damages are capped, unless a felony is involved, so he's unlikely to have to pay more than $5.5 million in total, including the $4.5 million already awarded. Booo! Hopefully perjury ups the ante to a felony and he gets whacked with the full amount. Connecticut seem to have similar caps.

Jones is content to bring his 'expertise' into issues other than gun control.

One relatively recent trip into medicines has resulted in him attempting to connect the growth in "monkey pox' cases to the use of certain covid vaccines.

Source from May this year - https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/alex-jones-monkeypox-conspiracy-theory-b2086134.html

There appears to be no end to the man's talents.  It seems to me that Jones might face more legal - and costly - implications as well given that he appears to have named two companies in his analysis -

"Alex Jones decided in a recent episode of his show InfoWars to promote a new and wild mistruth about the cause behind the recent global outbreak of monkeypox: Covid-19 vaccines.

He began the segment by reminding his audience about how Bill Gates, a frequent target of derision by anti-vaxxers and conspiracy theorists alike for the millions of dollars he’s invested in Covid-19 research and vaccine development, had “bragged” last year about how smallpox could be the cause of the next pandemic and how it will be “far worse”.

........

Mr Jones, however, was incorrect about Mr Gates’ purported “bragging”. In fact, the Microsoft founder and philanthropist provided an interview last year at Policy Exchange with chair of the health select committee Jeremy Hunt where he warned that governments should prepare for smallpox terror attacks.

This point was clearly missed on Mr Jones, however, as he launched into a paranoid rant that attempted to falsely link Covid-19 vaccines, specifically J&J and AstraZeneca, to the recent monkeypox outbreak that the World Health Organisation has confirmed at least 80 cases of in at least a dozen countries in recent days.

It's just so good that we can all benefit from his" wisdom", isn't it.  😳

On one hand it's amazing that folk like Jones have built a conspiracy theory industry but on the other it's totally obvious why when even in this tiny, minuscule sample of life that is PnB you see quite a few who fall hook, line and sinker for the utter nonsense these nutters spout. I just cannot grasp where the conspiracy theory believers tipped into that LaLa land and why but the Jones' of this world haven had to graft too hard to amass their fortunes from the gullible.

I thought Nigel avoided small aircraft these days.

If Nigel is such a fan of the Battle of Britain, didn't he remember the quote from Squadron Leader Skipper in the film of the same name? "How many time have I told you - never fly straight and level for more than 30 seconds in a combat area!"

Often ponder this as one of the universes great what ifs.

As in what if rather than help the c**t out of the smashed aircraft,  what if these kind passers-by did one for civilisation by kicking him unconscious and setting fire to the wreckage.

It's the plot to sliding doors 2.

Actually, I think we'd still have ended up exactly where we are if not worse off. Farage was the dislikable face of Brexit, but the real 'brains' behind it would have trotted out someone else to be that. Problem for us all is that these once fringe folk are not at the heart of government and setting agendas we don't even see never mind get angry about.

In 30/40 years time when the architects of Brexit have shuffled of the this earth, history will know the truth and guys like Johnson, Farage, cummings etc will be viewed in the same way Mosley and Powell is remembered.

In 30 years time, Brexit will be a question on an exam paper.

"Brexit was a concept that achieve the exact opposite of what it intended to do but people thought it was a good idea."

Discuss (2,000 words or fewer).

As usual, the piece of shit Piers is wrong/lying. I'd absolutely love to see him get a kicking, and will be genuinely pleased when he dies, as he's absolute poison who does nothing but harm.

Puerto Rico, Quebec, Catalonia, New Caledonia, Kurdistan and Djibouti are just some places who have had more than one independence referendum. Scotland has only had one so far.
