Livi v Motherwell

A draw I’m sure both sets of fans will welcome and see as having a chance of progression.

Motherwell cup specialists last season and will be looking to go again this season, just Shows that being seeded and unseeded makes little difference last season we were unseeded and got Falkirk, this season seeded and got Motherwell, luck of the draw and personally I don’t think it should be seeded anyway.

It's a tie that could go either way and for us is winnable, but Livi will feel the same. No doubt Kenny Miller will score against us and of course this tie puts the Cadden brothers up against each other.

Hopefully Ryan Hardie will be back in action by this game, we've been a bit light up front in the group games scoring just 5 goals in 4 games. I think we're set up to do well (pun intended) in cup comps though, we are good at grinding out wins.

As far as I recall we don't have the best record against Motherwell at Livingston to be honest.

Going to be a really difficult one to call with our attack being so toothless of late. Looking forward to our 90 seconds coverage on Sportscene.

Conor Sammon  was a big useless lump against us in the play offs, even missed a penalty, surely wont be as bad again.

I think we can grind out a one goal win here, would love a wee cup run and to get past the quarters for a trip to Hampden.

Agree about Sammon's performance in the play-offs but then again Steven Lawless hardly set the heather alight either and yet was a total revelation on Saturday.

Don't know what happened at Partick but it does seam that the entire team had lost all confidence and there was no coming back from it. On Saturday Lawless played with new vim and vigour; hopefully he can keep it up. It does lead me to wonder if Sammon experienced the same confidence issues?

In my opinion £18 should be the maximum ticket price for league games.

Higher than that in the Championship now, all the relegated Premiership teams keeping their gate prices the same in an effort to bounce straight back up have helped push the gate price up all over the board. Doesn't take much to encourages other clubs to raise their prices.

Yes and we're all glad you felt the need to tell us.

Livi fans very defensive about Motherwell fans finding ourselves being awful to watch. Your concern is touching.

Not at all, i'm just glad you got it out and felt comfortable enough to share your angst with us all on P&B.

Kelly; Lithgow, Halkett, Gallagher; Crane, Byrne, Sibbald, Robinson, McMillan; Hamilton, L. Miller.

I'd go with something like that for this game assuming Sibbald is fit, give guys like Crane, Lithgow, and McMillan a game, with Jacobs from the bench to get his sharpness up, and Cadden as well to redeem himself after his horror show against Killie. Hopefully Kenny doesn't start himself in this one, at least use the cups to see how his team will get on without him.

Not too bothered about the result in this one tbh, surviving in the league is much more important.
