Mac
Good 2-1 win yesterday for the Colts away at a useful Gala side. Last years core with a few useful additions. Colts new keeper was the difference with three outstanding saves
Ton Up
Took the game in yesterday and was a decent encounter. The keeper from Colts was outstanding and Gala will be thinking how they didn't come away with something. Fair play to Cumbernauld as after Gala equalised it there was going to be only one winner but to go straight up the park and score showed character. Think the keeper from Colts could be some signing! Mac
Great advert for the LL tonight, end to end match, Colts worthy winners in the end against a strong Kelty team. Up front Colts always looked menacing down the flanks, with Sean Brown a handful through the middle, Kelty dangerous at set pieces. Great start for the Colts 2 from 2, showed great character to come back to win.

Mac
Business restored today at Broadwood with the Colts worthy of the points, the Shires goal in the 93 minute made it closer than it actually was. The Colts strikers gave the Shire's defence a tough time all afternoon. Great entertainment
cowdenbeath
From what i've seen of Colts over the last few seasons they always looked like giving the "top 4" a run for their money and their proving that again with their recent wins over Kelty and Shire maybe even break into that group this season? If Allum and Rodgers took their chances at 0-0 it couldve been a different game. You leathered us down the right and our left back eventually got hooked with 20 mins or less to go. He was run riot all game. Cant really say our defence covered themselves in glory today and they've been solid this season too.Did you see why you number 21 was on the end of some pelters? I must've missed it. He took it well though [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
Nimmo's Notes
In an off the ball incident he pushed David McCaughie to the deck, knocking over the referee as well. Not even a yellow card.

Ah that makes sense. I only caught the No.2 on his shirt and thought it was the other guy lol.
Craig fae the Vale
Not a great game by any means on Friday night, but it was niggly and pretty entertaining despite very little quality on show. I expected more from both teams, especially given how excellent Colts had looked against Kelty a few weeks back. https://piesontheterraces.wordpress.com/2018/08/27/cumbernauld-colts-v-spartans/
Mac
Missed last Fridays match, but by all accounts was a disappointing game all round. Good reaction from the Colts grinding out a good win away at Edusport who look a decent side.
Mac
Solid result for the Colts in the WH Scottish Cup at Burntisland, played a bit more direct than usual due to the surface, proved too strong in the end for their hosts.Rd 2 at home to BSC should be a decent game, there has not been much between the sides since joining the league. Mac
Following two comfortable cup wins it was back to league business, the Colts did not get out of second gear today but were always too good for Whitehill. Dominated possession, should have scored more goals in the second half when they lifted the tempo, nevertheless another 3 points. Much greater depth of squad this season with a couple of key players missing today.

Hopeful rather than expectant tomorrow. You won't hear anyone from BSC talking about glamour ties in the next round.
