BL2
I remember seeing on Facebook that Scottish teams were undefeated on the same week in Europe for the first time since 2003. Whether this is true or not it's certainly no surprise our league usually fails to string a set of results together. Given our teams are now undefeated in 10 games, where does this rank on a similar scale? Has July 2018 been a "golden month" for Scottish football? craigkillie
The last time our clubs avoided defeat in their first 10 European matches was 1982/83.
The Nightfly
The last time our clubs avoided defeat in their first 10 European matches was 1982/83.Aberdeen lost one match out of 11 on the way to winning the CWC.Celtic went out at the second round of the EC after defeating Ajax (a win and a draw), but losing to Sociedad (a defeat and a win).Dundee United lost only 1 match from 8 played and were unbeaten against PSV, Viking and Werder Bremen.Rangers beat Dortmund (a win and a draw) before losing to Köln (a win and a defeat). So only 4 matches lost in competitions where it looked like each round was drawn without seedings.
