Would be tempted to go back to a 4-2-3-1 tbh, but imagine we'll stick with the 3-5-2

McGregor
O'Donnell  -  Souttar  -  Tierney  -  Robertson
McTominay  -  McGregor
Fraser  -  Armstrong  -  Russell
Griffiths

Or

McGregor
Souttar  -  Mulgrew  -  Tierney
Fraser  -  McTominay  -  Armstrong  -  McGregor  -  Robertson
Griffiths  -  Russell

Agree with any of those teams.

The second XI, minus Russell and plus another midfield - most likely the massively-out-of-his-depth McGinn - won't be far off.

McTominay is absolutely guaranteed to feature in the Albania game whether it’s starting or coming on, Just so that’ll be him stuck with us.

It wouldn't surprise me if there is some of that kind of thinking going on at the SFA. Absolutely no need for there to be, though. He's miles away from ever being good enough for England.

Rumours of around a crowd of 20000 again tomorrow

If that game had been on the Friday night or Saturday/Sunday I would have went but Monday night can get in the bin. The week of football thing is a load of pish.

I’m the same, this week of football is killing International football here.

What would have happened if we actually did well on Friday and had the type of enthusiasm that lead to a 30,000 crowd (which would be more typical for this type of competitive match)? Should we just accept being a pish 3rd rate nation who plays in a 20,000 capacity stadium? For all the SFA's faults, it would be even worse if they downplayed this to a type of Easter Rd friendly occasion (where the atmosphere at Scotland matches is always terrible anyway).

Albania at home pretty much is do-or-die. That’s the level McLeish et al have taken us.

McLeish hasn’t taken us to this level, previous managers, SFA officials, Government Officials and the like have taken us to this level.

Hence the et al. McLeish is just the latest in a long line. But he’s only going to make matters worse.
