It looks to me that rather than just perform the simple task of stopping the eminently saveable shot with his hands, he's instead tried to do some unnecessary swipey thing with his arm and made an arse of it. Considering he had just rejoined the club and hasn't kicked a ball in earnest since signing you can only assume that he will improve the chances created/scored, there is no guarantee. He may have a stinker of a season (doesn't seem to have impressed too much at other clubs he's been at) OR, as you hope, he may be on fire. Time will tell as they say. Only time will tell if Johnstone lives up to your expectations, I'm sure he will but it obviously can't be guaranteed until he actually plays and results improve because of his input.
