Fickle reason if true! By definition depending on the opposition, a fan may not turn up if his/her team are to win/lose by a landslide. So they should only turn up if they think there is a chance. Surely fans should be turning up as they wish to support their team whatever the outcome.
Rab B Nesbit
I won’t bother going because we’ll win by a landslide. Must be a nice problem to have .

8MileBU
No proper head count but would guess about 275, maybe closer to 300 at Dundonald v Bo’ness. Looked like a decent crowd in. Possibly a few neutrals. Dundonald v Boness 288Good guess! [emoji4]

Pleasantly surprised to see we are still averaging over 300 - as felt that our crowds had been dropping on last season (Bo'ness still in our shadow). Not sure how Bonnyrigg feel about their crowds in comparison to previous years.

It's a year - next season they'll either be playing all their chums again or enjoying the higher profile Lowland League.
Auld Heid
Take out the Scottish game v Fort William and your average isn't really any better than Bo'ness average. [emoji38]Take out the games which Barry Ferguson was involved and your average drops. So your post like you is pointless

Not sure how Bonnyrigg feel about their crowds in comparison to previous years. Our crowds are not dropping to any significant extent. There may be a slight fall but the majority of our supporters will get behind the club in a transition season. Substituting teams from Fife and Tayside with EoS teams will make little difference. The main difference will be not having the neighbours over and the Bonnyrigg game. Whilst some folk are not keen on new opponents, others are interested in seeing different teams both home and away.

Well we're a good way through it so there's no reason why they won't. If folk decide not to come to Prestonfield because of the structure we're playing in for one season then it'll make no difference to the rest of the league - only Linlithgow. Bearing in mind what the alternative looked like I'd have to say many more would be opting not to come.

They've both played 7 home games, not 8 and 6. Looks like Eyemouth v Dundonald (Oct 20th).
