HibeeJibee
I did a headcount late in the Dunbar v Eyemouth game. Everyone outside the railings - including committee, tracksuited players, infants and babies but excluding excitable dogs - amounted to 93.

Although it will be different from the number of paying punters present, I agree that a head count which will inevitably include committee is valid as it provides the total number of people who are actually watching the game and can easily enough be sourced without approaching clubs directly for 'ticket' sales which might not be so easy to achieve. However, surely substitutes shouldn't be included in a head count of the crowd as has been done in the above figure from the Penicuik Athletic v Crossgates Primrose game?!

Totally agree, players, subs and any management / backroom staff to do with playing who are in dugout area shouldn't be counted. All others on spectators side of barriers yes.

HibeeJibee
Headcount of 54 during 2nd half at Tynecastle v Peebles, excluding a few looking on with varying disinterest from the café-bar, and ~15 who came in the hour mark after a youth game ended.
