What the hell is the name of this club? ICT, Inverness, Thistle or Caley?

They've got more fucking names than fans.

They are currently discussing changing the name of their airport to Loch Ness International.
You can see it coming...
Loch Ness Caledonian Thistle FC
Nickname ‘The Monsters’.......

I think you will find that Livingston have The Monsters, The Munchers, The Monster Munchers, The Hoodlums, and The Launderers all on retention.

Inverness Caledonian Thistle Football Club is the post 1994 title. Still often referred to as either Caley or the Jags by the pre-1994 followers. Mainly known as Caley as the Howden Enders were the better supported team, followed by colourful and flambouyant characters whereas Jags or Jaggies or The fools on the hill were supported by boring, introverted and mostly silent fools from the hill.

You will forgive the eyes glazing over at “Jags”.

We elegant and sophisticated ex-Kingsmills attendees look down with mirth and no little pity at the ex-Telford Street faithful. Most of whom used to nattily pair a Rangers tap with their Caley scarf on matchdays.

Ex-Kingsmills detainee but no longer a Jaggie - says it all. I think that in the Highland League days most Invernessians had their big teams to follow - unlike you.

You most commonly hear fans and local people refer to the club as ‘Caley’ or ‘Caley Thistle’. It’s very rare to hear anyone call the club ‘Thistle’. Referring to the club as ‘Inverness’ is a central belt thing and is rarely used up hear. ‘ICT’ is more a written thing and hardly used in speech.

You bairns are fair shagging our women - Eilidh, Strath Karen and now Franchise.

To be fair, Franchise is a typical Highland bird, she'll put out for anyone with money.

The patter on here has been plumbing new depths this season eh.

You can't expect much better on this thread after all we only have the 15 new players to discuss and whether Sheps, Harris etc are good enough for our reserve team whilst next to no one in Inverness is even sure what happens in that strange wee stadium next to the bridge.
