cmontheloknow Posted July 11, 2018 Share Posted July 11, 2018 Pollok charging more for membership than supporters would pay at gate dates back 5/10 years or so (somewhere inbetween). First price was £80 (iirc) which was £20 on top of the previous £60 (iirc). It was essentally a donation to club funds which a member agreed to make as opposed to the standard 'pay up front and pay less' model adopted by most clubs. 150 or so members paying £20 a head each would pay for a player over the season.
