When is the 1st round draw ?

Confirmation that the first round draw will be tomorrow at 5.45pm https://www.scottishfa.co.uk/news/stage-set-for-william-hill-scottish-cup-first-round-draw/?rid=14258

PR2 preview: https://www.scottishfa.co.uk/news/clubs-set-for-scottish-cup-showdown/

Here's hoping there's 5 EoS clubs are in the draw. Bonnyrigg should be, Coldstream have a decent chance, Preston v Linlithgow will be interesting, LTHV might find it tough against Beith, and Burntisland won't get a better chance to beat Girvan (17 goals shipped in last 3 games and a new manager).

Green eyed monster?

The Scottish isn't going to be on your own radar anytime soon....!!!
Nope....blue eyed monster.

Would I like to be watching the BU's in the Scottish ? Hell yeah !! ........but in the meantime I have the moral right, nae responsibility and duty to support whatever team takes on the Rosey posers.

Great day for EOSL, with excellent away wins for Burntisland and Coldstream - only marred by LTHV fighting back from 2-0 down to 2-2 only to lose to an overhead kick with the last move of the tie, which must be heart-breaking.

Promising R2 draw, except perhaps for Burntisland:

Burntisland v Cumbernauld
Linlithgow v Fort William
Strathspey v Coldstream
Deveronvale v Bonnyrigg

Partly courtesy Burntisland's win at Girvan - with only 2 clubs reaching R1, it's also the lowest number of Junior clubs present at that stage since they were admitted to the cup 12 years ago.

It's the first time they've won 2 Scottish Cup ties in the same season, correct. Indeed until now they'd only won 3 Scottish Cup ties at all (v Coldstream in 1971-72; v St Cuthbert in 1994-95; v Wigtown in 2007-08).

However if you include the South Qualifying Cup - or North, which they played in until the war - in 1933-34 they beat Lochgelly, bye, and Larbert; in 1938-39 they beat Breadalbane, Dunkeld Birnam, and Falkirk Amateurs... they lost to respectively Rosyth Dockyard and Babcock & Wilcox so it seems they didn't like shipbuilding derbies!... in 1971-72 beat Edinburgh Uni, Tarff, and Coldstream; in 1972-73 beat Newton Stewart and Tarff; in 1977-78 beat Girvan and Hawick; in 1984-85 beat Tarff and Newton Stewart; in 1986-87 beat Girvan and Wigtown; in 1990-91 beat Edinburgh Uni and Glasgow Uni; in 1994-95 beat Annan, Girvan, and Civil Service Strollers, AND Gala; and in 1995-96 beat Dalbeattie and Tarff.

They also played in the last 2 seasons of the Scottish Qualifying Cup and in 1929-30 beat Lochgelly and Vale of Atholl.

Noticed Dalkeith's logo in this video - I thought it might have something to do with a licence but then I saw Peebles, Bo'ness, and Tyncastle...

Looks like Premier Sports have followed the others in giving the Scottish Cup jobs to the work experience kid.
