Great win today, went 1-0 down to a fierce maybole team, we battled back and eventually ran out 4-1 victors
Another three points.
Port Glasgow at home next week, big three points

Had a look at the tables does a win next week guarantee you promotion?

Gartcairn 4-0 port Glasgow

Gartcairn had the satisfaction to beat the only team to take full points from us this season.
On a horrendous day for football and with both teams trying to play football it was the cairn that found the net, four times at that.

All the best to the players of port Glasgow who almost all wished us all the best in the run in , unfortunately their manager didn’t have the grace of his players.
The same guy who claimed was going to bully us in Airdrie as he says he did at the port skulked back to the changing rooms unable to even shake hands.

Not normally one to get involved but I did enjoy giving him a bit back, only celebrate when you’ve something to celebrate....
Mon the mighty cairn

Great result today winning 6-1 away to maryhill
Half time 0-0

Maryhill should be applauded for getting there park on today , very soft underneath but same for both teams,
First half both teams tried to play football on it which was proving nigh on impossible, first half also saw two penalties, both saved.
Only the referee thought Maryhills penalty was a penalty although justice was done when Korea pulled off a tremendous save.
Gartcairns penalty won by arbuckle was upended was also saved.

Second half it was a determined Gartcairn who quickly scored twice, then another and another and ....
giggsy got three, Sherman, jal and ryso.
Connor mcardle just pipped man of the match but countless players could’ve been picked today.
This result leaves us one point from promotion
Next game Saturday at mtc park 2pm ko against last seasons league winners royal albert.

Hope to get your support

This weeks match sees Gartcairn facing our old friends and last years division 2 winning Side Royal Albert.

Cairns double promotion aspirations are now in there own hands and 3 points against the Albert will secure this historic success for the Airdrie side only in its 4th Full Season.

Along with the football this season Gartcairn are supporting as much as they can our local Charity Partner St Andrews Hospice capital appeal.

Entry for this match on Saturday will be by donation to the hospice for home away and neutral supporters.

With the old firm match being scheduled for Sunday the 31st why not get along to a junior football match help the Cairn secure promotion and support a worthy Charity along the way.

Disappointing 1-1 draw today, fair result though as Albert deserved the point.
We played 70 minutes with 10 men after ref sent kev Ross off, for me a harsh sending off, Albert match report seems to confirm.
Thanks to all in attendance today and all who donated to our cause this year, St. Andrews hospice.

All the best to all at royal Albert for the rest of the season

Just want to say thank you and well done to everyone involved in Gartcairn juniors .
In four short years we have went from the 2nd division newbies to championship new boys.
Massive thanks to all who have been on the journey with us so far but special mention today to Craig Armstrong Martin Peacock Peter Rolink and Ian Clark

To our management and back room team led by Jamie Mckenzie , to our players led by captain Kevin Ross.

Our small but growing band of fans who follow us.

Special thanks also to all our sponsors thru the years, without you guys we would be nowhere.

Next step.... the league title is in our hands let’s bring it home

Well done to Gartcairn for two promotions in a row .

They have had a lot of knockers since they joined the league mostly due to ignorance and a touch of jealousy.

what people don’t see is the tireless work goes on behind the scenes.    I know they have plans to increase fascilities at their pitch.

We will miss our games against them through the last 4 seasons which have always been tight and hard fought.

Good luck for next season  from everyone at the Albert
