Probably make the game all ticket and sell a maximum number so that they don't exceed capacity I would imagine...

So much for this idea.

The SJFA are a disgrace to say MTC Park is suitable for league ties but not the Scottish Junior Cup.

Don't think the SJFA would have been involved in making the shout re league games, that would surely rest with the West Region? may be wrong.

I’d imagine it could be our changing facilities at the moment as we await the council sorting iy

I would agree with you on that. Your ground is a similar set up to Rossvale as far as watching the game, however, their changing rooms are of a better quality And they put on Scottish Cup matches  last year.

Switch is a possibility
Viewparker, we are in the process of upgrading a bit, we are were we are at the moment, still baby steps but hopefully within the next three to five years we will have full facilities including seating , disabled access and seating, separate changing and a food court .
Hopefully lol

Sjfa have advised it can’t be played at mtc Park on this occasion, we are trying to source an alternative, other option is to switch the tie

Must agree with what others have said, a joke MTC is suitable for league games but not a cup tie!

What about the Penny Cars stadium or is that too expensive?

Gartcairn 2-2 Greenock
Still unbeaten but rode our luck at times.
Game started well with August player of the month Jamie Leslie scoring in 3 minutes, early goals seem to be a trait with us.
Cairn just edging the first half when Greenock keeper stupidly took the feet away from Alexander Amos in the box, Thomas Kilmartin stepped up and slotted home.
Everything was looking rosy as half time was arriving till Ryan Bennett made a rash tackle shortly after being booked leaving the ref no option but to show a second yellow .
Halt time 2-0
Second half was mostly Greenock who hemmed the ten men of gartcairn in .
Cairn defended brilliantly and kept wave after wave of attack under control, throwing bodies behind everything, on the 83rd minute a long punt from
Greenock keeper saw it breach our defence for their striker to slot home.
Greenock continued their onslaught and deservedly got their equaliser on the 96th minute.
With four starters unavailable and playing with ten men the full second half cairn should be happy with a point although disappointed in when the equaliser came about.
All the best to Greenock for the rest of the season,
Alexander Amos aka noddy got man of the match (and he doesn’t even have an airdrie postcode)

Thanks also as usual to our sponsors and the small but growing band of fans for your continued support.

Gartcairn continue their unbeaten run with a 3-1 victory away to a hard working East Kilbride.
As seems to be the norm Gartcairn scored in the opening minutes , Dylan Mcguigan slotted home after a delightful thru ball from giggsy.
East Kilbride didn’t let the early goal effect and hustled and bustled the cairn defence and midfield.
On the 26th minute a looping cross caught out the young Gartcairn keeper and he watched agonisingly as it floated over him into the net.
East Kilbride took a spur from this and continued to hassle Gartcairn although after Jamie Leslie was upended in the box kev Ross scored from the spot to take a lead 2-1 into the break.
Summary of first half 50/50 although cairn defended well and took their chances.

Second half it was clear the gaffer has had a chat and cairn came out on a mission.
Gartcairn commanded the second and were first to most balls, roundabout seventy eight minutes the cairn put thru a great ball only for the ek defender to handball it, jal was clean thru but the ref had pulled it back.
Deco stepped up to take the free kick and duly slotted home to seal the points.
Good day at the office against a team that will take points from many, if it hadn’t been for the ek keeper the score line could’ve been a lot higher.
Thanks to all at East Kilbride for their hospitality and banter, cakes were delicious, all the best for the season

Man of the match Gary Mcmullen
