in answer to your question......f*ck all.

When Corbyn was elected leader and throughout the shit stom that ensued within their own party membership and PLP i thought to myself "If the likes of Ian Murray, Kezia Dugdale etc dont like this guy then he must be doing something right"

Then he came to Scotland and knowingly lied about the privatisation of CALMAC, the privatisation of ScotRail, cuts in college places, cuts to local government funding.....all in his first visit.

I understand the need for political parties to make the others look bad but this guy was riding in on a wave of being 'different' 'honest' 'principled' and yet here he was lying through his teeth to people up here.

I dont know what pissed me off more, the lies he was telling or the fact he thought folks up here were dumb enough to fall for them.

If it wasnt for the internet we would probably still be in a position where this country voted for the red rosette regardless of who it was pinned on, thankfully scottish voters are canny and now that everyone has access to all the information they need to make an educated decision the days of labour weighing the scottish vote are over.

proper twat

He also promised he would visit Scotland every month.  I think I'm right in saying he's been here twice.  And made zero effort to understand Scotland at all.

I think he is an internationalist, and does care about that shipbuilder in Hamburg.

But his opposition to the EU is from a left wing perspective. It is one of the most powerful neoliberal organisations on the planet.

So is the UK.  He wants us to break ties with shipbuilders in Hamburg because people in Liverpool think we should.  Despite Scotland being overwhelmingly opposed to doing so.  He's just a British nationalist.

The Twilight Zone uberNat style.

Labour are for austerity. Brexit means a right wing Brexit. Voting Labour is voting Tory. Socialists shouldn't campaign in Dundee. Labour support the Tory party.

What's the weather like in your dimension?

Labour voted for austerity champ, labour told people in Scotland to vote Tory, fielded paper candidate's to allow the Tories in and is in alliance with them in several councils.

I voted Yes in 2014 and SNP in 2015.

I just find it annoying that some SNP supporters can't recognise that the Labour Party has been reclaimed by it's members and has a positive set of progressive policies. It's obviously down to the fact that there is no chance of 50+1 with a left wing UK government so they need to live in a state of denial of what a Corbyn government would represent.

Sure you did HB.  You're in a state of denial that Corbyn negates the need for independence.

He won't win an election and if he ever does it's only for five years.  Independence is for life.  The UK votes Tory two thirds of the time.  It's independence or live under a Tory government most of the rest of your life.  Those are the choices.

They also campaigned hand in hand with the Torys against Scotland's nationhood.

Lest we forget.

I had a moment of realisation during indyref.  It was some better together campaign event, they had basically the entirety of Scottish labour (there is no such thing obviously) on a stage with darling.

I looked along the line of them and thought wow, every single one of them is an utter scumbag, they're all pieces of shit and breathtakingly incompetent.  And these are supposed to be the good guys.

I don't know if there is a longer term strategy within Labour to see how this Tory situation ends up but they've just passed up on another chance to force a confidence vote.

If the shoe was on the other foot and Labour were in power, the Tories would have taken them down at every opportunity.

I'm really p**sed off with this now.

Ties between workers in England and Germany have nothing to do with the EU. The EU has fucked workers over with freedom of capital and the Laval and Viking rulings.

The EU links bankers, corporations, land owners and politicians. Workers are linked by social democractic parties, trade unions and other left wing groups.

What are the leadership supposed to do about Hoey, Stringer, Field and Mann? Hoey is basically in the DUP, Field is a Tory, Stringer has rebelled on 42% of votes this parliament and Mann genuinely hates Corbyn. Noticeably the two Lexiters Skinner and Campbell didn't vote with the government.

None of them will stand for Labour again and they only got to stand in 2017 becauase allowing reselection would have been chaos during the snap election.

Stop making everything about Scottish independence.

It makes you come across as an absolute obsessive.

He's merely point out that it's union at all costs with Labour even if that makes Scotland worse off. I guess, like me, he can't understand anyone who would support Scottish Independence giving this party their vote.

I don’t mind someone making Scottish independence their number one priority when it’s a tangible goal and will probably be considered in the next few years but if we lose again then what are these people going to offer going forward beyond trying again?

We're discussing Scottish independence champ, and politically literally everything is about Scottish independence.  It's linked to absolutely everything, that's kind of the whole point champ.

He's seeing everything through the prism of Scottish independence.

The labour party in Scotland might be union at all costs but it's certainly not true of Corbyn. He's an old fashioned hippie socialist.

He just obviously can't come out and undermine the Scottish branch so mainly keeps his mouth shut on it. That's what you have to do in that situation.

Trying again or complete disengagement. Labour have had 100 years champ.  They are not and never will be the answer, and will never get another vote from me under any circumstances.

That's utter shite.  Corbyn is union at all costs just as much as mundell or Davidson, and has amply proven this.  He does not keep his mouth shut on it he is vocally opposed to it.

You Corbyn fans are just fantasists who pretend things are the way you want them to be.  Corbyn is a British nationalist.

Everyone else was discussing Brexit. I'd drop the 'champ' schtick, it does nothing for you.

Your second sentence is my exact point. It's not, unless you make it so. That makes you an absolute obsessive.

Basically if we lose again then we’re fucked, Brexit, Rees-Mogg PM, private NHS type affair so I understand the guys urgency and focus on the indy issue. I dont agree with Pep on a lot of things and cringe at a lot of his posts but he’s kinda right to say that the biggest issue at present is Indy.

If i was a pro indy politician and it was a no i’d just resign and let the fuckwits destroy the country because that’s what the people would deserve.

If people can’t see that the Tories will make everyone poorer, destroy workers conditions/pay and shift the UK even further to the right then its a sad day, sadly I think we will lose another ref and there really is no viable alternative to hard brexit tory right wing extremism.

Careerist Labour politicians so desperate to cling onto the union and their profile ignoring the founding principles of the actual party make a mockery of politics in this country. Basically we are at a junction, its Indy and the chance to shape Scotlands place in the world or Brexit, right wing Tory rule for the foreseeable, becoming isolationist, indebted further to Trump et al and with the things we hold dearest like the NHS eroded to satisfy the rich tory donors.
